Charles Olivieri-Munroe launched his 2009/10 season with his debut appearance at the Taipei Symphony Orchestra on September 12. From Asia he travelled to Europe where he led L'Orchestra del Conservatorio di Swizzera Italiana on tour in Switzerland and Italy.

In connection with the 50 - year anniversary after his death, the world premiere of Martinu's Nocturne in F# Minor was conducted by Charles Olivieri-Munroe at the Prague State Opera on September 29&30. The performances were recorded by Czech Television which will broadcast them early in 2010.
