“Una voce poco fa” or “Largo al factotum” is on the lips of every person who
has just seen The Barber of Seville. In spite of its premiere being a failure,
master of opera buffa Gioacchino Rossini has created an immortal work
that does not cease to entertain and amaze audiences on all continents.
The story is fast-paced and consistent, abounding in light intrigues and
errors which lead the protagonists to a happy finale.
