The YOUNG PIANISTS GALA CONCERT forms the brilliant culmination and closure of the international piano festival and concerto competition “Chopin in Cyprus”, organized by the Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition with support from the Mediterranean Performing Arts Festival in the collaboration with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.Under the baton of the world-renowned conductor Charles Olivieri-Munroe, the concert gives platform to two exceptionally talented young pianists, the two finalists of the concerto competition. The winner of the competition will be announced at the end of the concert.The audience will savour the aspiring pianists’ interpretations of Frédéric Chopin’s absolutely ravishing piano concertos no. 1 and no. 2. This is expected to be a musical experience that will capture the heart.
