Many outstanding composers of the Viennese Classics era moved from Bohemia to the capital of the Habsburg Empire (such as Florian Leopold Gassmann, Josef Mysliveček and Johann Baptist Vanhal), while Czech wind instrument players were also renowned throughout Europe. This concert will feature a Mozart masterpiece related to Prague and a symphony from an outstanding Czech composer, either side of a trumpet concerto.
